About Aly
My name is Aly and I am an MSc Finance & Economics student at the LSE, and I hold a First-Class honors from the University of Warwick in BSc Economics.
I am incredibly passionate about the world of Economics, and I find great enjoyment in spreading my knowledge to others interactively and creatively. Outside of education, I enjoy a wide variety of sports such as football and swimming, and I even represented the Egyptian national swim team when I was back in sixth-form!

I have successfully tutored many students at the University of Warwick and helped guide them through challenging examinations.
I look to build a solid and intuitive understanding of various concepts before I help my students find creative, yet effective, methods of tackling complex exam-style questions. I believe in guiding my students toward the correct answer rather than simply giving them the answer. Moreover, through my professional experiences in Asset Management, I look to provide real-world examples to solidify my student's understanding of topics. My lessons typically run between 45-60mins, but I am flexible depending on the requirements of my students.
Looking specifically at the services I can offer:
1.) Tutoring for GCSE, IGCSE, and A-Level Economics
2.) University Admissions/Application including personal statement assistance, university and program selection, and interview preparation
3.) University tutoring in subjects related to Economics & Finance, as well as dissertation help
4.) Job Application/CV help, primarily for those interested in a role within Asset Management
I pride my teaching on 3 things: RELIABILITY- I promise to always be there for my students and never abandon them prior to an important examination. OPEN TO CRITICISM- I understand that my lessons may not be perfect, and as such, I expect an honest and open relationship with my clients. CONTINOUS SUPPORT- I make sure that I am always there for my students, and I am ready to answers calls or emails whenever I am needed, even outside scheduled hours.
