About Jared
I am a recent graduate of the University of Cambridge, where I achieved a First-Class mark (74) in my Applied Economics dissertation. Alongside my academic achievements, I bring over 150 hours of tutoring experience, specialising in Economics, Law & Economics, and Oxbridge admissions preparation.
My background combines both teaching and research. I currently work as a Law and Economics researcher, developing a specialised expertise in this interdisciplinary field. At Cambridge, I was actively involved in widening participation and global academic outreach — working with the University’s STEM SMART programme and serving as Head of Girton College Global Academic Programs. These roles have honed my ability to support students from diverse academic and personal backgrounds.
I have successfully helped many students secure Oxbridge offers, guiding them through admissions tests, interview preparation, and personal statement support. I also offer targeted training for the TSA and TARA admissions assessments, ensuring students are fully prepared for the unique challenges of these exams.
Whether through subject tutoring or admissions mentoring, my approach is clear, supportive, and tailored to each student’s strengths. My goal is not only to help students excel in their studies but also to give them the skills and confidence to succeed in highly competitive university applications.

My teaching style takes a personalised and comprehensive approach to tutoring and can be flexible based on the students needs. From working through practice questions and marking essays to teaching concepts from scratch, I am able to tailor the lessons to best fit individual student's learning styles.
Lessons can be tailored to follow the A Level curriculums or go further in providing further advanced content that helps students gain a greater understanding of the subject.
