About Deeksha
I am a dedicated and reliable tutor with a strong academic background and a clear, structured approach to teaching. I achieved 5 A*s at IGCSE and completed the IB Diploma with 7s in Economics and Business Management, and I am currently studying at King’s College London.
My lessons are well-planned, focused, and tailored to each student’s needs. I prioritise clear explanations, strong exam technique, and regular practice using past-paper questions, helping students build both understanding and confidence. I maintain a professional and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress.

My Approach to Tutoring:
My approach to tutoring is structured, student-centred, and exam-focused. I prioritise building a strong conceptual foundation before moving into application and evaluation, ensuring students not only understand the content but can use it confidently in exams. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning pace and goals, whether that is improving grades, strengthening fundamentals, or achieving top band marks.

I use a mix of:
Conceptual explanations broken down into simple, intuitive steps
Exam-style practice, including past paper questions and mark scheme analysis
Active questioning to test understanding and develop critical thinking
Structured answer frameworks for long-answer and essay questions
Regular feedback with clear targets for improvement
For subjects like Economics and Business, I focus heavily on evaluation, real-world examples, and exam technique—key areas that differentiate top-scoring students.
Typical Lesson Length:
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, which I find is the most effective length to balance content coverage, practice, and feedback. Longer sessions (90 minutes) can be arranged for exam preparation or intensive revision.
