I'm Masoud Habibian, an Economics graduate, Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants (FIPA), former Chief Financial Officer, professional trainer and Co-Founder of Xigma Accountants.

With over 25 years of professional experience, my career began at Ernst & Young and progressed through senior corporate finance, executive management, financial counselling and business advisory roles.

My academic background in Economics, combined with practical experience in business and finance, allows me to explain economic principles through real-world situations rather than theory alone.

I have also worked extensively in financial counselling and community education, helping individuals and families understand financial challenges, manage resources and make informed decisions.

Today, I combine professional accounting practice with education, supporting students, working professionals, business owners and individuals seeking greater economic and financial understanding.

I believe economics should be accessible to everyone. Understanding how markets, prices, interest rates, government policies and financial systems work can improve both personal and commercial decisions.

My lessons combine academic economics with over 25 years of professional experience in finance, business management, financial counselling and education.

I focus on helping learners understand how economic principles influence everyday life, financial decisions, businesses and the wider economy.

**Three Levels of Learning**

**Level 1 — Foundation**

Designed for students, beginners and individuals seeking a practical understanding of economics and financial literacy.

Topics include:
- Introduction to microeconomics and macroeconomics
- Supply, demand and market behaviour
- Inflation, interest rates and unemployment
- Personal budgeting, saving and debt management
- Financial systems and everyday economic decisions

Focus: Building economic knowledge, understanding fundamental concepts and preparing for academic assessments.

**Level 2 — Applied Professional**

Designed for university students, working professionals, managers and business operators seeking to apply economic principles in practical situations.

Topics include:
- Economic indicators and business conditions
- Interest rates, inflation and purchasing power
- Market structures, pricing and competition
- Economic influences on business profitability
- Financial decision-making and economic risk
- Interpreting economic information for commercial purposes

Focus: Applying economic knowledge to workplace, financial and business decisions.

**Level 3 — Advanced / Executive**

Designed for executives, business owners, senior managers and experienced professionals seeking specialised economic education and strategic financial understanding.

**My Teaching Method**

Each lesson is tailored to your existing knowledge, learning objectives and experience.

Sessions generally run for 45–60 minutes and are delivered online.

**The Difference Between Learning Levels**

Foundation sessions focus on general economic education, financial literacy and academic learning.

Applied Professional and Advanced / Executive sessions involve specialised workplace applications, economic analysis and strategic financial education. They are not simply higher-priced versions of ordinary tutoring.

The appropriate level and scope are agreed before booking.

**Economics & Financial Literacy — Professional Education**

I offer three levels of personalised economics and financial education.

**Level 1 — Foundation | $125/hour + GST**

For students, beginners and individuals learning economics, financial literacy, budgeting, inflation, interest rates and fundamental economic principles.

**Level 2 — Applied Professional | From $299/hour + GST**

For university learners, working professionals, managers and business operators seeking practical economic analysis, commercial applications and stronger financial decision-making skills.

**Level 3 — Advanced / Executive | From $499/hour + GST**

For executives, business owners and experienced professionals seeking specialised economic education, advanced scenario analysis, strategic financial understanding and executive-level mentoring.

**Session Duration:** Generally 45–60 minutes. Fees are based on the agreed hourly rate and session duration.

**Delivery:** Online via Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

**Availability:** Selected weekdays around midday (Adelaide time), or after business hours by arrangement.

**Booking & Payment:** Advance booking and payment are required. Learning objectives, session scope and applicable fees are confirmed before booking.

**Rescheduling:** Please provide at least 24 hours' notice, subject to the agreed booking conditions.

**Professional Services:** Client-specific business consulting, financial advisory and other professional engagements are separately scoped and quoted through Xigma Accountants.

**Hourly rates including 10% GST:**

- Applied Professional: From $328.90
- Advanced / Executive: From $548.90
