About Rohan
I’m a passionate and driven graduate of The King’s School, studying Commerce at UNSW, with strong interests in Business, Economics, Legal Studies, Mathematics, and English, and an ATAR of 96.7. Teaching is something I truly value, as it allows me to stay connected to the education system and pass on the knowledge, strategies, and insights I’ve gained to others. Seeing students grow in confidence and understanding is what makes tutoring so rewarding for me. Having recently completed the HSC, I’m highly familiar with the latest syllabus, exam expectations, and current social and economic issues that shape today’s studies. I use this knowledge to help students not only master the content but also think critically and apply their learning to real-world contexts. As a Cadet Unit Officer (CUO), I’ve had the privilege of leading and mentoring over 300 students, which strengthened my communication, leadership, and teaching skills. My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring consistent improvement and confidence. Ultimately, I want to teach because education has played a transformative role in my own life, and I’m passionate about helping others experience that same growth and success.

My approach to tutoring is centred around building understanding through clarity, engagement, and confidence. I begin each lesson by identifying the student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then tailor my explanations and examples to suit their learning style. I focus heavily on simplifying complex ideas, using real-world examples to make concepts in Business, Legal Studies, and Economics more relatable and practical.
A typical lesson runs for 60 or 120 minutes, structured around both theory and application — including practice questions, essay planning, and exam-style responses.
As a senior student at The King’s School with a predicted ATAR of 96.7, I have excelled in my HSC subjects and developed effective study techniques that I now share with my students.
My lessons are specifically designed for all students (Years K–12) who want to strengthen their academic foundations, improve their essay-writing skills, and boost their confidence leading into assessments and exams.
