About Mark
I am an ecology graduate with a First Class Honours in my first degree, and will begin an Msc in Biodiversity and Conservation at Leeds University in September 2019. I am a very keen biologist in general, but am a particularly keen ecologist and botanist with keen interest in scientific transferrable skills and wild plant identification.

I can offer tuition to A-Level biology students and undergraduates in ecology and related disciplines. My lesson plans are very flexible and will depend on what you as an individual need to work on. For example, I am happy to help you with exam revision, develop transferrable skills that are key to being a successful scientist, understand the scientific method, and write better essays / reports. So session topics will typically revolve around areas of difficulty, simply tell me in advance what you're finding hard and we will focus on these areas to improve on. And of course, anyone under my tuition can expect a warm initial welcome and to feel comfortable and motivated in their learning. Don't be afraid, this isn't school, I guarantee that we'll be on a very friendly first-name basis; and I try to be entertaining and dynamic in my teaching where I can.
