About Abhinav

Started off with playing the guitar in school, Abhinav gradually started self teaching piano and later took on to private lessons as well. Mainly influenced by contemporary music, he likes composing and producing all kinds of music. Very passionate about sharing his knowledge with students, he has been teaching vocals, guitar and piano to students of all ages.

About the lesson

Methodology of teaching will completely be based on the student's age, interests and musical aptitude. Some of the paths that students take are -

(A) Trinity/ABRSM exams: Many students follow this classical approach in which they pass through grade exams which are set by internationally acclaimed exams boards.

(B) Hobbyist: Focus will be on the musical interests of the student with additional techniques and methodology developed by the teacher. If you are a singer who wishes to accompany yourself on piano, or if you just want to learn some songs without getting deep into music theory, or you want to prepare for an upcoming performance, the hobbyist path is for you.

(C) The Indian Classical approach - You will be introduced to Alankaars and Ragas. Primary focus would be classical/bollywood/regional music along with some western music theory.

If you are a complete beginner or have just started out, you are in for a treat to the awesome world of piano. Can't wait to see you playing some beautiful pieces already :)
