About Emma

I have a Guitar Performance Certificate from the Nashville Music Institute and 8 years of experience teaching guitar to students of all ages and skill levels. I'm particularly good at working with complete beginners who have never touched a guitar before and helping them feel confident and successful from their very first lesson. My teaching approach uses research-proven methods like immediate correction during practice, which helps students develop good technique much faster than waiting to fix problems later. About the lesson

Guitar lessons focus on teaching you how to hold the guitar comfortably and make your first sounds without any pain or strain. We set clear, achievable goals for each lesson and celebrate when you reach them. I also give you specific practice instructions for home that make improvement happen faster. Everything is taught at a pace that feels comfortable, and we can always slow down or speed up based on how you're feeling and learning.
