About Anca
Experience in giving 1-to-1 tutoring in maths and physics in high school (personal grades 95.8% Maths and 92% Physics in final graduating exams-Baccalaureate).
Experience in tutoring large groups of students during Earth Science labs as a Laboratory Demonstrator position held in 2016-2017 and Secretary of Glasgow University Earth Science Society for two academic years.

From experience I know that a tutor's contribution is less than 20% of the student's success. I am ready to provide a strong background, revision notes, work through sets of example exercise and supervise the student's work thereafter in a flexible manner and pace that will be set by the student. The student will be encouraged to solve in his/her own time similar sets of exercise and request assistance only when needed. This way the student will build not only a strong background but also confidence and speed which are essential in the coming exam.
