About Laura
I am a teacher of nursery and primary education with an English mention.
I have been working with children for 12 years. I started studying the Higher Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2011 and then I did Early Childhood and Primary Teaching.
When I finished my degree, I went to Ireland to work and I stayed there for two years. I was a tutor in a 4-year-old classroom and in the afternoons I was with the "afterschool" to help them with their homework.
When I returned to Spain I did a specialty in English while working at the British Council teaching English. [ N]
Since September 2020 I have been working in a school in Madrid as a tutor for 6th grade of primary school.
As I have both Infant and Primary, I have experience with a very wide age range.
I started working with children from the beginning when I was 18 years old as a "babysitter", since then, by way of summary I have worked in a camp, a recreational center, as an au pair in Ireland, giving private lessons, three nursery schools, two of them in Dublin, in the British Council of Martínez de los Campos and in the Somosaguas school, and as I have already mentioned, currently in a school in Madrid.
I would have free from 17:00 when my school day is over.
I usually do the first session online so that I can meet you, so that you can get to know me áis and be able to solve any doubts you may have.

At first I like to follow the book adapting to what is required of each student, I have always liked to individualize since I think it is the key to teaching.
I like to take into account the rhythm of each student .
On the other hand, depending on the age, I like to apply the game in my classes, playful school support as far as possible, if the students see this time as something boring, the opposite effect can be achieved the one we love, it is important not to lose the motivation and interest of the child.
An important line that I like to follow is routine, whether it is just one hour or more.
I like to emphasize that the student acquires a study habit, and this is influenced by both space and time.
