Sessions are 1:1 via zoom or face to face ,multi-sensory and involve a variety of tasks thus making the sessions fun and enjoyable for the student.
Support is offered in reading, spelling, writing, general organisation, processing and memory.
Objectives and targets are established from information provided by the child, the parents and relevant professionals. From this a profile is created for each child, which will pinpoint the exact nature of their learning need. Strategies are developed to target these particular areas. The aims and objectives detailed in the profile will be reviewed periodically to ensure that targets are being met. Progress and feedback will be monitored and reviewed to ensure continued progress.
The process starts with a free one hour informal session to meet with the student and parents to discuss the student's needs, the expectations of the student and parents, any professional recommendation and the initial plan of what support will be provided.
