About Finn

With 14 years of tutoring experience, I have dedicated myself to teaching Trumpet to High School students, College students, and adults. During this time, I have successfully helped around 300 students improve their knowledge, confidence, and overall performance. I believe every student has the ability to succeed with the right guidance.

My teaching philosophy is centered on patience, encouragement, and steady progress. I create lessons that are easy to understand by using simple English, practical activities, and clear explanations. I make sure students understand every concept before moving to the next level.

Each lesson includes structured learning objectives, guided practice, and regular feedback. I encourage students to develop independent learning habits while providing the support they need throughout their journey.

One of the highlights of my career has been teaching around 300 students and seeing many of them reach their goals with confidence. Their success motivates me to continue improving my teaching methods and helping more learners succeed.

I believe a positive classroom encourages better learning. My goal is to create an enjoyable environment where students stay motivated, build strong skills, and develop confidence that will benefit them throughout their education and future careers.

About the lesson

My Trumpet teaching approach is based on creating a supportive and interactive learning experience. I use Communication to encourage students to ask questions, share challenges, and actively participate in lessons.

I believe in Adaptation to Learning Styles because each student requires a different approach to achieve success. I use Real-life examples and case studies from professional performances, musical groups, and experienced trumpet players to explain concepts more effectively.

Along with Trumpet, I provide instruction in related subjects such as Music Theory, Sight Reading, Ear Training, Rhythm Development, and Musical Expression. My lessons include practical exercises that improve tone, technique, breathing, coordination, and performance confidence.

I focus on helping students enjoy music while developing skills that support their long-term musical growth.
