About Paxton
I am a passionate Piano tutor with more than 4 years of experience helping college students learn piano with confidence. I believe learning music should be enjoyable, practical, and suited to each student's individual goals.
My teaching approach combines patience, communication, and personalized instruction. I explain lessons in simple English and encourage students to participate actively while developing strong practice habits.
I use innovative teaching techniques such as digital music resources, rhythm training, ear exercises, visual demonstrations, and performance-based learning. These methods make lessons engaging while improving technical and creative abilities.
Students learn note reading, scales, chords, finger coordination, rhythm, posture, dynamics, and musical expression. I provide regular assessments, personalized guidance, and continuous encouragement so students can enjoy steady progress and become skilled, confident piano players.

My teaching approach is centered on communication, creativity, flexibility, and supportive learning. I believe every student deserves lessons that are enjoyable, encouraging, and suited to their learning pace. My classes focus on building both technical skills and musical confidence.
Students begin by learning proper posture, finger coordination, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. As they progress, they continue with scales, chords, arpeggios, pedal techniques, dynamics, expressive performance, sight reading, and advanced piano techniques.
I teach through demonstrations, practical exercises, listening activities, and regular revision. Students are encouraged to ask questions, participate actively, and understand every concept clearly before moving forward. Personalized feedback keeps students motivated.
Students explore different musical styles while improving creativity through accompaniment, improvisation, and musical interpretation. These experiences strengthen confidence and performance ability.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard, rhythm development, ear training, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, beginner composition, and performance preparation. These additional lessons help students become complete musicians.
My objective is to create inspiring lessons that encourage discipline, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
