About Charlie
I have been making art all my life and have a huge passion for passing on my knowledge and expertises in creative and exciting ways . I have complete a National Diploma in Art & Design with triple Distinction and have a First Class Honours degree in Art & Visual Culture. I am a practising performance artist and have worked in costume, set design, multi media sculpture, photography and video art and production and many more mediums.
I have worked in a variety of schools assisting Art lessons and given one to one tutoring for almost two years now. I keep in touch with my university tutors and have a good knowledge of how to prepare for foundation degrees and university.
This is my life and passion, let's have fun together.

My teaching method is person centred. We start by finding out what excites you about your topic, medium or process. Here I will often use mind mapping, visualisations and free writing techniques to bring out this unique interest. Through the following lessons this interest evolves through:
- Artist Research
- Experimentation
- Process/ Intuition
- Modeling
Within these sessions I can also give technical lessons in sculpture, drawing, photography and craft. Assisting as well with professional exhibition production techniques. I will also set homework in between each lesson to develop your sketchbook, portfolio/ website and keep your ideas expanding and evolving.
