About Elise
With 12 years of teaching experience, I am committed to helping students discover the joy of playing guitar. I teach learners from different backgrounds, including school students, college students, and working professionals.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, consistency, and encouragement. I believe that every student can succeed when lessons are tailored to their needs and delivered in a supportive environment. I focus on making learning enjoyable while helping students achieve measurable progress.
My classes include guitar basics, chord progressions, scales, rhythm development, fingerstyle techniques, and performance preparation. I also teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, songwriting, and music appreciation.
I use a combination of practical exercises, song-based learning, and creative activities to keep lessons engaging. Regular feedback and personalised practice plans help students stay motivated and continue improving. My aim is to help learners build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong passion for music.

I follow a student-centred teaching approach that combines compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I believe that every learner has unique strengths, and my responsibility is to help them discover and develop their abilities.
My Guitar lessons are organised in a step-by-step manner to ensure smooth and steady progress. Beginners start with simple techniques and gradually move to more advanced concepts. Lessons include rhythm exercises, chords, scales, strumming patterns, fingerstyle methods, and performance preparation.
I create an interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable sharing their ideas and asking questions. I provide regular feedback and encourage students to practise consistently to achieve better results.
In addition to Guitar, I teach music theory, ear training, rhythm studies, and basic songwriting. These supporting subjects help students become complete musicians with a strong understanding of music.
My goal is to develop confident, creative, and disciplined learners who enjoy music and continue growing throughout their lives.
