About Jocelyn
I have a B.A. in ASL-English Interpreting and an M.Ed. in Deaf Education, with experience teaching and interpreting in a variety of settings. My approach to tutoring is straightforward and focused on clear, visual learning that respects Deaf culture and individual pacing. I create a relaxed environment where students can build skills at their own speed and feel comfortable asking questions. Outside of tutoring, I stay connected to the Deaf community, build Deaf Curriculum and continuously look for effective ways to support learners new to ASL. Whether you’re just starting or aiming to improve your communication with Deaf friends and family, I’m here to help you develop practical signing skills with confidence.

With a B.A. in ASL‑English Interpreting and an M.Ed. in Deaf Education, I craft each lesson to your pace and interests, keeping learning visual, fun, and up lifting. By the end of every session, you’ll be ready to greet Deaf friends and chat with genuine ease and a big smile
