About Ida
I'm a Dutch girl who grew up in Nijmegen, in the eastern part of the Netherlands. I moved to Uppsala in 2017 and learned Swedish for the past five years. I have a bachelor's degree in pedagogical science and educational science and a master's degree in environmental communication and environmental management.

I am educated in pedagogy and I have experience as a mother tongue teacher for students in FSK to high school. I think the most important thing is that people learn to feel comfortable with the language. You learn by doing, that's my motto. I am enthusiastic, open and creative. I like to use videos, games and music during the lessons. And in addition to that, it is important that I look per person at what this person needs and where there is room for development. Everyone is different and everyone has their own goals with the language.
