About Anna Lena
I am a philosophy and psychology student at Durham University, United Kingdom. I have completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma with 41 out of 45 points and attained a grade of "A" in the Extended Essay in English Literature. Resultantly, my essay was published in the Library Catalogue of my Highschool. I have deep insight into the IB English Literature course, having completed IB English Literature at Higher Level with a grade of 6 out of 7 points. I was also an editor of the Papyrus Creative Writing Club of my Highschool, which published two successful editions in 2020. I do not have experience in professional tutoring, though I have helped out my friends frequently during school hours and my good results in the subject demonstrate that I have detailed knowledge on how to refine school essays or personal statements to perfection.

My teaching method is largely based on providing constructive feedback to students/university applicants who need help in planning, structuring or polishing English literature essays or personal statements and college essays. Based on the written work they provide me, I can lead them through their work step-by-step, directing tutees towards improvement when it comes to spelling, grammar, analysis and content in their pieces. After reviewing the tutees work, I am open to further questions they may have for me. Furthermore, I can give advice on how to effectively build persuasive arguments and integrate intriguing vocabulary within written work .

Details
The rates do not vary for any student's level of knowledge. All tutoring sessions are held online and are 1 hour long (except for the first free lesson, which will last 30 minutes only).
