About Dudley Violin School
Having studied with world-class international soloists at the Royal College of Music (London) and at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, winning several instrumental prizes in both venues, DVS tutor divides his versatile musical career between private teaching at the highest level, chamber music, giving recitals and freelancing with some of the biggest orchestras in the UK and abroad. Mr Liviu Popescu has played with several internationally renowned orchestras such as London Philharmonic, The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, The City of Birmingham Symphony and has led the viola section of the RTE Concert Orchestra (Dublin).

Violin and Viola, All Grades, Diploma level, Post Graduate level preparation and Professional Performance Training.

Bachelor of Music with Honours and Postgraduate Diploma in Performance at the Royal College of Music (London).
- How much do you charge?
In general pricing is flexible and will accommodate committed and talented players on a tight budget. Online lessons over Skype, etc are also available please get in touch.
- Where do you teach?
Teaching is usually provided in residence however travel arrangements throughout the West Midlands and beyond is available, please inquire below.

Lessons can be arranged throughout the week and usually can accommodate at short notice provided students can also be flexible.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
Players of all ages are welcome at Dudley Violin School, at any level and immediate progress can be assured form the very first lesson.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
Students are prepared up to and including professional level in Solo performance, Chamber Music and Orchestral Repertoire and Music Theory.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
Lessons over Skype can be arranged as required - please inquire below.

Perfect! The tutor is super patient and even more motivating. Always polite and willing to help you to learn. I started from very basic level but with his patience I can now play single notes (after 2 lessons) and enjoy violin in my hands. I am sure the progress will be much higher as long as I focus on it. Highly recommend this tutor.
