About Ben
Hey, I'm Insightz!
I have been obsessed with music for as long as I can remember. My journey started with acoustic instruments, mainly guitar, bass and drums. Over a decade ago, I fell down the rabbit hole of electronic production and never looked back. I am SAE-qualified in Audio Production but I believe the best lessons come from real-world experience, not just textbooks.
My tracks have had support on BBC Radio 1 and found various homes on labels such as Subway Soundz, Organized Grime, Only Drums DnB, and Smokin Riddims. I know what it’s like to take a track from a rough idea in your bedroom to hearing it blasted out on a festival sound system and the journey it takes to get there.
While my heart is firmly in Drum & Bass (all of it: liquid, neuro, jump-up, you name it), I have produced everything from Dubstep and Trap to Funk. My wide background allows me teach you how to think about sound design and arrangement in a more creative way.
Whether you're just starting to map out your first beat or you're an experienced producer trying to crack that label code or get your tracks club-ready, I am here to help you get there.

Whether you are just starting out or looking to refine your sound, I bridge the gap between ideas and polished tracks. With over 10 years of experience, I will help you master the technical side of production while sharing industry secrets that keep your music competitive.
What we can cover:
- Production & Composition: I teach primarily on Ableton. Whether it’s starting a track from scratch, arranging your ideas, or overcoming writer’s block, I’ll help you translate what’s in your head into a finished project.
- Professional Sound Design: Stop using presets. We’ll dive deep into synthesis using Serum, Massive, and other industry-standard synths to craft basslines and textures that are unmistakably yours.
- The Mixdown & Mastering: Learn how to create clarity, punch, and energy. We’ll tackle the technical hurdles of frequency management, dynamic control, and loudness so your music holds up on any system.
- Industry & Career Advice: Having a great track is only half the battle. I can provide guidance on navigating the industry, marketing your music, building a network, and the best ways to approach labels effectively.
My lessons are fully tailored to your goals. We will work together to focus on your specific projects, and help you find your unique sound and get your music release-ready.
