About Anna

Hi!

My name is Anna and I’m a costume maker and cutter with experience in ballet, theatre and film. I’ve worked in the industry for ten years and have a background in womenswear and tailoring. Ask away any sewing questions!

About the lesson

Each person’s sewing journey is different! I can teach someone the absolute basics from how to use a sewing machine to more technical sewing! I am also here to help anyone withtheir sewing projects! From tailoring to dressmaking, draping to tutu making.

Perfect! Anna has the sort of know-how that comes with years of professional experience. She was able to respond to all my questions with constructive advice on fit and construction and helped me to see things that I hadn't noticed. Anna was very friendly and open and generous with her time.
After many not so successful makes, I feel like I can achieve the jacket of my dreams with her guidance. Looking forward to the next lesson!
