About Susan
I have been a teacher for over 35 years, specializing in Drama and English as both a first and second language. I love teaching expressive writing and speaking and my students have both enjoyed my classes and improved in their ability to write and speak English more descriptively.

I teach Grades 8-12 in creative, interesting ways that provoke new ways of thinking and approaching language. I enjoy an interactive approach, stimulating imagination and discussion. I am a passionate educator with a deep desire to see people of all ages develop to their full potential through the use of creativity and imagination. With over 35 years’ experience in Performing Arts, Classroom teaching and tutoring I am able to use my creative teaching skills to adapt to present conditions of online and hybrid class teaching.
I am enthusiastic and organized with an unwavering commitment in assisting students, schools and organizations in achieving their goals.
I have excellent communication skills and love meeting new people, I especially enjoy networking and helping others succeed. I am currently researching my Masters in Applied Drama at University of Witwatersrand.
