About Jarren
Hello my Name is Jarren van Zyl. I have a Bachelors degree in Drama and theatre studies. I have experience using English in an Academic environment and I am well read on various English authors from Tolkien to Bernard Shaw. I try to teach students through an engaging environment and through their interests. Students enjoy using a language if they are talking about what they find interesting. I am well read and can help provide literary studies or help with book reading. As a Drama Student I have done accent work and can help with that as well.

I try to make my classes based around the interests of the students. Keeping a calm environment where they can learn in a stress free environment while using their interests to spur them to learn the language enthusiastically. I try to keep the lesson part freeform for the students to experiment and part structured so that after the freeform activity we can anaylse weak points and expand on what the student is missing or misunderstanding.

Details
I add R10 per 10 Kilometers to cover for petrol fees. I charge R150 for cancellations unless made 24 hours before the lesson.
