About Barend
I am a University of Pretoria graduate with a drama degree, specialising in acting, directing and writing. I have written and produced multiple productions both on screen and on stage. I have taught basic writing lessons for two years now.

I teach my classes through the use of practical exercises which shows my students how to think creatively and how to avoid writer's block. I also teach the difference between script formats which are used in the industry. The course is directed at anyone from the age of 15 and up. It is never too late to start a career in writing.
