About Madison
I started playing double bass through my school orchestra program at age 9, and I’ve adored classical music ever since. That’s my main focus, but I also dabble in rock, jazz, blues, and bluegrass, sometimes on other instruments (electric bass, guitar, violin, and cello). For several years, I played music in my free time while pursuing another career, but I am now studying double bass and music education at the University of Maryland. There's nothing I love more than helping others discover the magic of music!

I won’t just tell you what to do – I’ll train you to observe your own playing and use effective practice methods to overcome the challenges you encounter. So, even if you have to stop taking lessons, you will never have to stop learning. The better you get, the more fun you’ll have, and the more you’ll want to play!
