About Sevinç

After studying at the University of Lausanne in Political Sciences (graduated in 2017), I went to Iran, to the University of Isfahan for a language stay, as well as to Istanbul as a volunteer teacher. Following these experiences, I was admitted to Sciences Po Paris for the double master's degree with INALCO (Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations). This combined training allowed me to carry out research work in the field. So I left from January to March 2020 to the Turkish-Syrian border to conduct my research on the construction of a satellite city. This field experience allowed me to sharpen my qualitative research tools to the realities on the ground. Currently I am an intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and work on water issues around the world, and more particularly in Africa.

About the lesson

I base my methodology according to the needs of the students From my own experience as a student, I know that certain teaching formats at the gymnasium or at the university turn out to be rigid or unsuitable for students. I therefore prefer to assess the needs of my students and thus adapt my method. In terms of content, I build on my previous lessons, I ask (if necessary) small writing exercises that allow students to structure their thinking on specific objects. Having spent 5 years in research, I give courses in research methodology (theoretical and applied) for anyone who needs support in writing a bachelor's or thesis. Specialized in the Middle East (Master's degree), I am also there for students who need support for knowledge on the geo-political and historical issues of the region.
