About Kiran
I hold a PhD in Signal and Image Processing with a focus on data processing and machine learning from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), one of India’s most prestigious institutions. Over the past several years, I have worked across academic and research roles, including postdoctoral research in structural health monitoring at UNSW and a research administration role supporting large-scale grant applications at Swinburne University. My journey through these roles has not only deepened my technical expertise in MATLAB, AI, and data analysis but also strengthened my passion for teaching and mentoring. Throughout my academic and professional career, I have had the opportunity to teach and guide both undergraduate and postgraduate students. I find immense satisfaction in breaking down complex concepts and helping learners build confidence in technical subjects, especially those that often feel intimidating—like machine learning, signal processing, and programming. My goal as a tutor is to make technical learning approachable, enjoyable, and impactful.
