About Bailey
Hi, I'm Dr. Bailey Ehrgott, a guitarist and educator with degrees from Berklee College of Music and the University of North Texas, where I earned my Doctor of Musical Arts in Jazz Studies. I have taught private lessons, university courses, guitar ensembles, and summer music programs, working with students of all ages and experience levels. In addition to teaching, I maintain an active performing career and have been recognized nationally.
My students have gone on to attend respected music programs, including Berklee College of Music, University of North Texas, University of Northern Colorado, and other collegiate music institutions. Whether you're a beginner learning your first chords or an advanced musician developing improvisation, technique, and musicianship, lessons are tailored to your individual goals in a supportive and encouraging environment.

My teaching philosophy is simple: every student is unique. Lessons are tailored to each student's goals, interests, and learning style while building a strong musical foundation. Areas of study may include technique, fretboard knowledge, scales, arpeggios, chord vocabulary, improvisation, ear training, music theory, reading notation and tablature, rhythm, songwriting, and learning songs by ear.
