Dr Beck is an amazing professor! He has been my professor for several classes as I pursue my masters degree. Most recently I had him for my introduction to New Testament Greek. This was the one class that I had marked on my schedule that I was concerned about. Dr Beck was awesome and made the class very practical and the content very practical. One of the things that really stood out to me in the class was how he differentiated what I just had to memorize what was academic and I would only see in a classroom and then what I would see in "real" life.

I would recommend him because if he would step into the role, he can discharge it well, do the research to keep up with advances, and phrase it in tailored language to the given pupil.

Dr. Beck has served as Professor of Biblical Studies at Forge Theological Seminary, teaching both biblical studies, systematic theology, and biblical languages. He is a favorite among our student body due to his knowledgeable, capable, and helpful approach to teaching.

In my experience with Mike (Dr. Beck) as a doctoral supervisor, he maintained a perfect balance of approachability and professionalism. His expertise was clear from the advanced level with which he spoke on our research subjects, but he never made me feel dumb or as if I should already know anything. In fact, he prompted me to learn and work at my own pace, and any time I didn’t understand something, he was always able to provide accessible and trustworthy resources to bring me up to speed.

I had the privilege of been tutored in Hebrew by Dr Mike Beck last year as part of my denominations requirements that new Ministers learn elementary Hebrew.
