About Mariana
I'm 24 year old actress with a passion for languages.
I have been acting for several years, and that has given me a deep appreciation for communication and expression, which translates well into language teaching. My love for languages goes beyond Portuguese; I am fascinated by how languages shape our understanding of the world and connect us to different cultures. I believe in making learning fun and engaging, with an interactive and practical approach that ensures you can use Portuguese confidently in real-life situations.
I find personal fulfillment in helping others learn Portuguese, as watching people progress and achieve their language goals is incredibly satisfying and motivates me to keep teaching. Additionally, teaching enhances my own language skills and knowledge, as explaining grammar, vocabulary, and cultural nuances deepens my understanding of my native language and English as my second language.

Each lesson builds on the previous one, reinforcing your knowledge and skills. However, I also remain flexible to address your immediate needs or interests, whether it’s preparing for a trip, an exam, or improving specific language areas.
Lesson levels:

Methods of learning:
-Flashcards;
-Reading, writing, speaking, and listening exercises (day to day examples);
-Handout with key phrases and pronunciation guides;
-Homework and assessments.
The typical length of a lesson is 45min, however can go up to 90min, depending on your needs.
Anyone from the age of 15 onwards is welcome to my digital classroom.
