About Junia
With more than 20+ years of teaching experience and over 6040 students successfully mentored, I have helped violin learners achieve significant growth in performance ability and musical understanding. My teaching experience includes beginners, intermediate students, advanced performers, competition candidates, and aspiring professional musicians.
Many former students have participated in orchestras, chamber groups, recitals, music festivals, competitions, and advanced training programs. Several have continued into professional performance careers and higher music education. Their accomplishments demonstrate how structured learning and dedicated mentorship contribute to long-term success.
I believe the violin offers limitless opportunities for artistic expression and personal development. My mission is to help learners develop confidence, technical excellence, and a lifelong appreciation for music while supporting their individual musical journeys.

Violin lessons are structured to help learners build strong technical foundations while developing expressive performance abilities and musical confidence. Training includes posture alignment, bow control, intonation accuracy, rhythm mastery, scales, sight reading, ear training, music theory, repertoire development, ensemble participation, performance preparation, and artistic interpretation. Lessons are customized according to each learner’s current level and future goals.
Students participate in technical development exercises, interpretation workshops, listening analysis activities, sight-reading sessions, ensemble preparation, performance practice, and guided practice planning. Lessons encourage learners to understand both the technical and emotional aspects of music, creating balanced and confident performers.
Advanced learners explore advanced bowing techniques, expressive phrasing, solo repertoire, orchestral performance, chamber music collaboration, audition preparation, performance psychology, artistic communication, and professional musicianship development. This methodology supports both technical mastery and artistic growth.
