About Me
I am Christine Westhoff, an American lyric soprano passionate about sharing the transformative power of music through both performance and teaching. I began my vocal training at 9 with Sarah Turner at Southern Illinois University and continued under Christine Armistead at Washington University in St. Louis.
My performance career has taken me across the globe, singing in concert halls and cathedrals as a leading voice in oratorio and sacred music. I have collaborated with prestigious symphonies and celebrated ensembles, including the Irish sensations The Priests. My extensive recordings, spanning classical, sacred works, art songs, Broadway, and jazz, now stream on every continent, connecting with listeners from diverse backgrounds.
For the past 18 years, I have maintained a thriving private voice studio where I teach singers of all ages and levels — from beginners to advanced students preparing for Broadway, classical, and conservatory auditions. With meticulous attention to technique and expressive artistry, I help students build strong, healthy voices while unlocking their unique musical potential. Many of my students have gained admission to prestigious colleges and conservatories and received hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarship funding.
In addition to my studio teaching, I have lectured and presented masterclasses at the University of the Ozarks. Whether you are just beginning your vocal journey or refining your craft for professional goals, I am committed to guiding you with the same dedication and excellence that have defined my own career.
