About Ange
I am a Northern lass who came to floristry within the last few years. I studied City and Guilds Level 3 diploma in Floristry at Wigan and Leigh College. During this time I had a work experience placement at Peter and Margaret florist in Bolton. I currently work as a member of the Flower Shop at my local Morrisons, as well as delivering workshops for a Bolton-based Community Interest Company. I hold a PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) certificate - the equivalent of what is now Certificate of Education and Training. This means that I am proficient in preparing and delivering lesson plans. I also have experience in studying horticulture, and have been a mental health practitioner/counsellor as well as working for a range of charities. I have a cat called Ricky and an allotment where I mess around with plants 🪴

I can cover theory, practical skills including wiring, tying, gluing etc. as well as principles of design, legal and business topics. I can also help anyone with a general interest in floristry discover how to get started. I can also cover horticulture and plant care topics.
