About Angela

Hello, I'm a year 11 student currently in college, my name is Angela Wang.

I qualify in ABRSM grade 8 piano, grade 7 violin, and ABRSM grade 5 music theory, all passing with distinction. Currently part of the Wellington Youth Orchestra as a violinist. I'm also bilingual, so I can fluently tutor tutees with either English or Chinese.

Because I'm closer to the age of children/teens, I understand their struggles that you go through and will make them feel confident and proud of the results they will achieve. I will give it my all to make them feel good about their skills and actually enjoy music.

Angela is a responsible and patient teacher. She is highly organised, dedicated to her student's learning and super easy to talk to. As her friend, I never hesitate to ask her for help because I know I will be met with no judgement and step by step instructions. During exams Angela has always been a great help to me, both for tricky questions and managing stress. She's a superb teacher and someone to talk to about your struggles!
