About Agnes
I am Agnes, I have always loved playing the violin in various different ways, bouncing off different techniques to keep me engaged and excited by the instrument. I predominantly learnt through the Suzuki method which is very focused on training your ears and playing by ear, while also doing all the ABRSM exams, including a diploma at distinction level.

Having been taught by some amazing individuals myself over the years, I have learnt from many different techniques which has given me an important overview in violin technique, allowing me to bring a very personalised approach to my teaching. With very rigorous classical training, including lots of ensemble and orchestra playing, I am now mainly focused on taking what I have learnt over many years into improvising within a band context, so have a vast scope of different ways the instrument can be played depending on the pupil's interests. I would like to really train the pupil's ear to be able to play in any environment as this is the most important thing.
