About Mahgol

Hello, I'm Mahgol! I have more than 9 years of teaching experience and a comprehensive music education, including a bachelor's degree in Music in Guitar Performance and a pedagogy course from Zurich University of Arts. My guitar journey spans from the intricate rhythms of Flamenco to the melodic elegance of Classical, and the upbeat vibes of Pop. Teaching guitar is more than a profession for me; it's about sharing the incredible diversity and depth of these genres with enthusiastic learners. In every lesson, I aim to do more than just pass on skills. My goal is to light a fire of passion for music in each student. I offer a mix of traditional and modern teaching techniques, ensuring each student gets a tailored and easy-to-understand approach. When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?
I developed an interest in playing the guitar when I was just 9 years old. From the moment I picked up a classical guitar, I was enchanted by the intricate melodies and the rich, resonant tones that it could produce. The structure and discipline of classical music appealed to me, and I loved the challenge of mastering complex pieces. Over the years, my passion for classical guitar has only grown, and it remains a central part of my life.
What makes you passionate about your subject?
What makes me passionate about teaching guitar is the transformative power of music. Playing guitar has the ability to connect people, evoke emotions, and tell stories without words. I love seeing my students progress and discover their own musical voice. Sharing my knowledge and witnessing their growth as musicians is incredibly rewarding. It's not just about teaching chords and scales; it's about helping students unlock their potential and express themselves.
