Martin is a superb teacher, whether teaching classical or rock guitar. He is thorough and patient, while communicating his enthusiasm and love of playing. Over many years of giving me lessons, he always maintained the highest standards of professionalism and trustworthiness.

Martin is probably the best guitar teacher in the world. He’s been teaching my kids for years now and they’re both flying - doing grades 6 (aged 12) and 3 (aged 9). He’s super passionate and fun, but strict and exacting when needed… and also has the Jack Black passion and cool for the rock and blues side of things. Can’t recommend him highly enough.

I have been working with Martin for over 4 months this year and have really noticed the speed at which I've begun to improve. Martin has helped me break past previous plateaus and get excited to play guitar again. Martin is an excellent musician and tutor who picks up on individual needs and interests and tailors his approach accordingly. He is enthusiastic, reliable and able to inspire students to learn through his own obvious love of music and songwriting.

Martin is an excellent instructor who inspired me to pick up the guitar after he taught my son for the past few years. The weekly lessons are incredibly fun (particularly improvisation) and importantly he mixes in theory in an engaging manner. As an artist and practitioner, he clearly has the highest proficiency level and it’s a pleasure having him as an instructor.

Best guitar teacher you can ever found ! I love his lessons!

I played a little bit before but Martin has been teaching me the basics of the guitar - the essential bits people sometimes want to skip. He is great at determining your level and providing lessons and fun exercises to help you develop. I would recommend him as a tutor!
