About Alisha
I’m a forever positive and happy psychology student at the University of Manchester- through my hard work, resilience and dedication through which I would love to inspire each and teach every year pupil including those students with any sort of disability of not see it as their weakness, use it as their motivation in order to make them a confident individual once again!

During tutorials, I would try to help pupils overcome these barriers by providing guidance on financial aid options, sharing information about scholarships and grants, offering resources to explore different career paths, and providing support in navigating the college application process. Like myself, who applied for the Manchester Access Programme (MAP) and successfully was given a conditional offer! Additionally, I would create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and express their aspirations. By addressing these barriers and providing the necessary support, we can help students achieve their goals and access higher education.
Moreover, for those students who suffer from any sort of disability, I would ensure that all my PowerPoints are adapted to their needs, provide them with their preferential seating, near door. With prearranged or frequent breaks. Providing them also with a a separate, quiet room for testing and extended test taking time, to make them feel more equally included.
To ensure a high-quality tutorial where all students are engaging positively and learning, there are a few strategies I would use,. First, I would create an inclusive and welcoming environment where every student feels comfortable participating. I would encourage open communication and active listening to foster engagement.
Additionally, I would tailor my teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. This could involve using visual aids, interactive activities, and real-world examples to make the content more relatable and engaging for all students.
