About Tyrai
Hi! I’m a music producer, sound designer, and educator based in Montreal. I specialize in electronic and ambient music, with a deep focus on texture, synthesis, and creative audio workflows. I’ve worked in digital music production for over a decade and currently teach audio at Trebas Institute. I’m passionate about helping others unlock their creative potential — whether that means learning how to make your first beat, diving into modular synthesis, or just gaining confidence in your DAW. My approach is hands-on, encouraging, and grounded in real-world techniques used by professional producers. I specialize in sound design and electronic music composition, but I teach across a wide range of genres and skill levels — from laying your first beat to crafting full tracks with expressive soundscapes.
