About Kisha
My name is Kisha Khumalo, and I’m a passionate and dedicated History tutor with a strong academic background in the social sciences. I am currently studying towards a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies at the University of Johannesburg, where I’ve gained valuable insight into historical, political, and social systems—both in South Africa and globally. I specialize in tutoring History for high school learners (Grades 10–12) and first-year university students. I understand that History can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially with so many events, timelines, and essay demands. My goal is to help you move beyond rote memorization and truly understand historical causes, consequences, and connections. I teach in both English and isiZulu, depending on your preference. As a History tutor, I use an engaging, analytical, and student-centered approach that helps learners go beyond memorizing dates and facts.
