About Nelisa
I am a qualified professional teacher with a Secondary Teacher's Diploma, Bachelor of Arts in Information Science, Honours in Information Science, Masters in Developmental Studies, Diploma in Assessor Moderator and Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation.
I provide a supportive learning environment in which students feel safe to express themselves and take risk. I highly encourage participation, provide constructive feedback and celebrate student achievements big or small. In that way student's self-esteem is developed.

My approach for teaching IsiXhosa entails basic language concepts, sentence formulation reading based activities and meaning construction , grammar as well as task activities. This is an excellent way of engaging in user-friendly structured lessons which will give the learner necessary grounding in IsiXhosa grammar and vocabulary.
My interactive method of teaching includes but is not limited to brainstorming, buzz session, debate, discussion, role reverse, think pair and share as well as project based learning.
My lessons are intended for beginners and conversational purposes.
