About David

As a vocal coach with over 10 years of experience, I believe in creating a tailored approach for every student. Each person has their own unique vocal qualities, and I work to enhance these characteristics while developing their technical skills. My lessons are built around positive reinforcement and gradual progression, encouraging students to develop their voices at their own pace. I start by assessing each student’s vocal abilities and preferences, whether they want to focus on developing their range, improving breath control, or enhancing pitch accuracy. For beginners, I focus on foundational exercises that build a strong, healthy voice. For more advanced students, I introduce techniques like dynamics, phrasing, and vocal flexibility, helping them refine their sound and increase their vocal capabilities. I encourage students to experiment with various genres, from pop to classical, musical theater to jazz, allowing them to explore different techniques used across diverse styles. In addition to vocal technique, I also prioritize ear training and sight-reading skills, helping students become more well-rounded musicians. Above all, I believe in making every lesson enjoyable and empowering, with a focus on building confidence both in the vocal studio and on stage. Whether preparing for a performance, audition, or just singing for fun, my lessons help students reach their vocal potential while maintaining a healthy voice for years to come.

About the lesson

With a background in classical music and contemporary vocal techniques, I have been teaching singing for over 10 years. My approach to vocal coaching is holistic, combining technical training with emotional expression, ensuring that students not only improve their voice but also become more confident performers. I work with a wide range of students, from beginners who are just starting their musical journey to advanced vocalists looking to refine their craft.

I place a strong emphasis on healthy vocal technique, focusing on proper breathing, posture, and pitch control. I also integrate ear training into lessons to help students improve their ability to match pitch and develop a stronger sense of musicality. One of my passions is working with students on vocal dynamics, teaching them how to control their voice and use it expressively. Throughout the lessons, I guide students through different musical genres, encouraging them to explore a variety of styles, from opera and musical theater to pop, rock, and jazz. This broad approach helps students become well-rounded singers who can adapt to different musical challenges. In addition to vocal technique, I also work on developing strong performance skills, helping students build confidence in front of an audience and develop a genuine connection to the music they sing. Whether preparing for an audition, performance, or simply enjoying the art of singing for personal satisfaction, my aim is to help students discover the joy of singing and become the best vocalists they can be.
