About Rachael

I grew up in the UK with a keen interest in all things artistic and ended up with an Engineering degree in Product Design. I then progressed through the job titles - Programmer, Business Analyst, Graphic Designer, Web Designer and UX Designer and Product Designer. I've had my own businesses, and have worked for a lot of well-known Advertising agencies and big brands, mainly in Australia, including IKEA, HSBC, ING, Rolls Royce, Caltex, Vodafone and several top advertising agencies such as M&C Saatchi, Ogilvy, The Monkeys and BWM. In my spare time I like to travel, enjoy the outdoors and do creative projects. I offer many ways to learn design at Artfuly.com. About the lesson

I patiently take you through any areas you need to improve to be a professional and competent Visual, UX, UI or Product Designer.

From layouts, use of whitespace, use of color, fonts, typography, information hierarchy, in visual design plus creating business requirements documents (briefs) to make sure you have a clear idea of what success looks like.

Also how to optimize your user research and user testing, understand information architecture (IA) and databases, through to creating beautiful designs in Figma, Adobe XD or other software, and finally how to create responsive webpages for a stunning end result.

If your goal is to land a Design job, I can review your CV, advise which of your past experience to highlight, and help you optimize (For ATS systems) or build your online portfolio and portfolio project stories.

I aim to get you where you need to be in the fastest time possible - no fluff.

During a 30-minute initial consultation, I put together a tailored learning plan for you to make sure you reach your goals

Learning formats:
- Interactive 1 on 1 personal tutoring* 60 mins ($75/hr)
- Interactive 1 on 1 personal tutoring* 30 mins ($37.50/hr)
- Whatsapp & figma comments support in-between sessions e.g. for quick questions
- Curated learning resources e.g. Youtube tutorials to quickly skill up in your target area(s) and my own learning resources

*Face to face discussion and using figma interactively together

After each interactive session, you'll be given related design tasks to practice what you've learned and discuss in your next interactive session.

I keep up to date with new AI tools and give you the knowledge to supercharge your design process to stay competitive and valuable.

These will progress you towards evolving your design skills, finalising design projects, and publishing your job-ready portfolio
