About Unzila

Hi! I'm Unzila, a final year BSc Architecture student with a real passion for design and helping others grow creatively. I know how overwhelming architecture can feel at times — from getting to grips with software to figuring out what makes a great portfolio. That’s why I love supporting students through the same journey I’ve been on. I’m patient, friendly, and great at breaking down complex ideas into something clear and manageable. I believe in learning by doing, and I’ll always meet you at your level, whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your skills. Having recently gone through the early years of architecture school myself, I understand what’s expected — and I’m here to help you feel confident, prepared, and inspired.

About the lesson

• Teaching Style: – Friendly, visual, and relaxed – Step-by-step guidance using sketches, diagrams, and references - Building up confidence in students preparing for University/ A Levels – Focused on building creative confidence and understanding, not just results • What I Teach: – Portfolio development & layout – Design thinking and architectural concepts – SketchUp, Photoshop, AutoCAD basics – Drawing, spatial awareness, and idea development • Lesson Length: – 60 to 90 minutes (flexible based on topic and student needs) • Experience & Background: – Final-year architecture student – Strong academic and design project experience – Real understanding of uni expectations and how to prep for them • Who It’s For: – GCSE, A-Level, foundation, or first-year architecture students – Beginners curious about architecture or preparing for uni – Students needing software, drawing, or creative support
