I believe that design is a discipline; it is structured, but its rules can be broken if you master the rules. That's how legends are created.
My approach in teaching will be hands-on because design is something in which you should apply the theory in real life. Most of the classes will be task-based. Your course will be designed for you; it's custom based on the skill level you have right now. It will be custom because different people will have different interests, and everyone will be at a different pace.
