About Marco
I am a passionate audio software engineer and music producer with over 5 years of experience working with audio, DSP, Ableton Live, and Max. I previously taught as both a teaching assistant and engineering instructor at Colorado State University, where I worked with classes of 120+ sophomore students for the past 2+ years. I have tracks released on all major platforms (Spotify, iTunes, etc), and have released several Max for Live plugins for mixing & mastering, motion capture, and tactile control in Ableton Live.

To best prepare my students for a career in audio engineering/production, I approach the subject from a highly technical point of view. Rather than hammering students to memorize scales and chord progressions, I give them the tools to build their own workflow and composition techniques. I work primarily on Push 2 and similar "pad" style instruments and encourage and guide students to not only find and work with the hardware/software they need, but also how to build their own.
