About Justin
I love learning about the natural world around me. This love for science was ignited in me as a kid and has blossomed into a career of not only learning about the natural world myself but also sharing that knowledge with others and building relationships along the way. In college, I studied molecular biology and biotechnology. It was here, in college, that I first had the opportunity to tutor. I loved it. After college, I started tutoring and teaching and working on a M.S. degree in Biology with an Emphasis in Education. I currently work full-time as a high school science teacher at a private school in Florida, sharing my passion for science and mentoring the next generation.

I approach tutoring in an interactive way, with lots of questions, that requires the student to work for the answers. This helps the student to retain the content he or she needs to master. My tutoring sessions are very dynamic and conversational. Not only am I passionate about the content, I am also passionate about helping my students succeed academically. Not only do I help students understand content, I also equip them with tools for studying on their own. I typically tutor high school and college students in biology but I also tutor other middle and high school math and science courses.
