About Sloane
My fascination with the violin began when I first heard the instrument’s expressive sound in a live performance. This inspiration led me to pursue a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance, where I studied advanced technique, ensemble performance, and musical interpretation. Over the past 7 years, I have helped students develop strong violin skills and musical confidence.
I believe learning the violin requires patience, encouragement, and consistent guidance. My teaching style focuses on building strong technical foundations while creating a supportive learning environment. Each student progresses at a different pace, so I adapt lessons to match their individual goals and abilities.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing violin repertoire and studying new musical works. These experiences allow me to bring fresh inspiration into lessons. Teaching violin is rewarding because I see students transform from beginners into confident musicians who enjoy expressing themselves through music.

My violin lessons focus on helping students develop a beautiful tone and strong technical foundation. Beginners start by learning proper posture, bow control, and finger placement on the strings. Simple scales and short melodies help learners understand pitch accuracy and rhythm. Step by step, students become comfortable holding the instrument and producing a steady sound.
As students gain experience, lessons include more advanced bow techniques, shifting positions, and expressive playing. These exercises help improve tone quality, finger strength, and musical phrasing. Students also learn how to interpret musical pieces and bring emotion into their performance. Practice routines are designed to help learners develop consistency and confidence.
My goal is to help students enjoy the violin while developing discipline and musical understanding. Lessons encourage patience, careful listening, and artistic expression. Over time students gain the ability to perform music clearly and confidently. Violin becomes both a creative outlet and a meaningful musical skill.
