I believe successful trumpet learning comes from combining excellent technique with consistent encouragement and enjoyable practice. My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults at every skill level, from complete beginners to experienced performers. Students begin by mastering posture, breathing techniques, embouchure, articulation, tone production, rhythm, scales, note reading, and finger coordination before progressing to advanced musical concepts.
Intermediate and advanced lessons include flexibility training, endurance development, range expansion, phrasing, dynamics, orchestral excerpts, solo performance, jazz improvisation, ensemble playing, music theory, ear training, and sight reading.
I provide personalised lesson plans, constructive feedback, and customised practice routines that support steady improvement between sessions. Every lesson is designed around the student's goals, learning pace, and musical interests, creating an engaging and rewarding experience. Whether you want to perform confidently on stage, succeed in music examinations, join a professional ensemble, or simply enjoy playing beautiful music, I am committed to helping you achieve lasting success through patient guidance and expert instruction.
