About Orla
I have spent the past 8 years teaching trumpet to school and college students while sharing my passion for music and education. I believe that learning an instrument is a journey that builds confidence, creativity, patience, and determination.
My teaching approach combines clear explanations with practical exercises that help students improve step by step. I teach breathing techniques, posture, tone production, articulation, rhythm, scales, sight-reading, music theory, ear training, and performance skills. Every lesson is personalized to match the student's learning speed and goals.
A major milestone in my teaching career has been seeing students successfully perform in concerts, school events, and examinations with confidence. Their achievements remind me that consistent guidance and encouragement make a lasting difference.
I work hard to create a friendly and motivating environment where students enjoy learning without fear of making mistakes. I celebrate every improvement because even small achievements lead to greater success.
Teaching gives me the opportunity to inspire students through music while helping them build valuable life skills such as discipline, confidence, teamwork, and perseverance. I look forward to supporting every learner as they grow into capable and confident musicians.

My comprehensive trumpet lessons are designed to prepare students for every aspect of musical performance while making learning enjoyable and inspiring. Students develop breathing control, embouchure strength, articulation, rhythm, scales, music reading, tone quality, and finger coordination before advancing to flexibility, endurance, dynamics, phrasing, sight reading, orchestral excerpts, solo repertoire, jazz improvisation, and performance preparation.
Lessons also include music theory, ear training, listening skills, and structured practice routines that encourage independent learning and continuous improvement. Every student receives personalized attention and practical guidance throughout their musical journey.
